You may have seen a new little icon in the lower right corner of your screen that looks like a Windows Logo. That’s Microsoft telling you to reserve your copy of the Windows 10 operating system upgrade that will be available July 29.
While the prerelease versions of the software we have been testing are working great, we should use some caution. It’s somewhat common knowledge that a new piece of software – particularly one as complicated as an operating system is – will have some bugs and more importantly may NOT be compatible with your business application(s). Unplanned upgrades to Windows 10 may interrupt your business day or in some case even remedy your systems as useless!
ACTION: Please inform your staff that they should NOT upgrade to the new operating system if they are presented with the option.
While we have taken precautions to minimize the possibility of an autoupdate, communication with your staff on this is important. In the future, we will be recommending the upgrade sometime during the first year, but only after testing and certification. For now, we know Windows 7 works fine and is fast and stable.
Lets plan the upgrade together.
Once the software is released (July 29) and we complete our initial test, planning for your business system will automatically begin. We will reach out to you to make sure we certify and meet all your needs for the upgrade.
