At AV Computer Repair, we can provide remote support to all our clients no matter where they’re located. If your computer is turned on and connected to the internet, we can help you without having a technician pay you a visit. And don’t worry, we can’t login without your permission!

How does it work?

Establishing a remote connection is a simple process and requires just a few steps:

Once we have connected to your system, all we ask is that you not interfere with the process. Of course, you are free to watch us work, get a cup of coffee, or do anything else you wish to do. Once we are done, we’ll close the connection, and you are welcome to delete our software.

Note: when you first call, we will get your details such as name, address, and most importantly, your phone number so we can call you prior to us logging in.

First, call us at (661) 263-4442 to schedule a date and time for us to provide services or

Get remote IT support today

Is you’re time limited? Have a deadline? Value your privacy? Or perhaps a visit from an onsite technician is simply impractical. Whatever the reason, our remote support service is perfect for getting small problems resolved such as removing a virus, configuring software, troubleshooting printer problems, figuring out why your PC is running SLLLOOOWWW, or if you’ve purchased a new PC and would like help configuring it.

Remote IT support is surprisingly effective, and can turn days of back-and-forth emails &/or phone calls into a quick-fix. During your appointment, one of our qualified technicians will connect to your desktop or laptop using a program called Remotely, hosted on our own in-house server and requires no installation. This allows us remote control of your device while also allowing you to see what we’re doing at all times.

Frequent Questions

How secure is remote servicing?

All communications between us and you are encrypted. All sessions are initiated by and completely under your control – you choose what level of control we have and can stop the session at any time. No software is installed on your machine – the software is downloaded to allow us to access your machine and is inaccessible to us after each session. We cannot access your machine without you initiating the software.

What software do I need?

Our software is a small download and will be ready usually within 30 seconds of an accepted session request. You don’t need to have special permissions on your machine to enable the software to run, and it’s compatible with most firewalls and routers, so there shouldn’t be any complex configuration required. Download our Remote Assistant software for Windows or Mac.

What internet speed do I need?

While a broadband internet connection is preferable, it is still available to users on a low bandwidth dial-up internet connection. Our system works on any connection. Dial-Up / Modem, Router, Broadband, Wireless, ISDN, and even within most corporate networks.

Do you provide support to businesses?

Yes, and in most cases, we are able to connect to your computer system even if you’re behind a corporate firewall. Our remote PC repair and support services are available to both residential and business customers.

Can you always connect to my computer?

Absolutely not! You run the connection software which connects your PC with a technician. When the support session is complete, the connection software cannot be used by us automatically. We can only reconnect if you run the remote PC repair connection software again. Alternatively, you may delete our Remote Support software from your downloads folder.
